Clear PVC Y-Check Valves

The Y-Check valve Type 304 is a weighted angle check valve and is used to automatically stop flow in the back direction when the fluid in the line reverses. The valve closes by the dead weight of the weighted seat. Y-Check valves generally have tighter shut-off characteristics than ball checks at the same pressures. The transparent body allows visual check of the operation. Turbulent flow has minimum effect on the Y-Check valve. Can be installed horizontally or vertically. Soft seat provides leak tight seal at very low pressures. Weight loaded check outperforms PVC spring loaded designs. Metal pin through removal eye and then turning bonnet nut provides easy removal of end plug.
